400 Grit

My personal favorite and fastest cutting stone in the series. I haven’t found a stone that has this amount of cutting speed with ratio of dish resistance, it will flatten wide bevel knives with ease. This is the best stone for thinning out blades over time and for repair work.

400 grit edge is excellent for aggressive slicing edges for hunting and fishing tasks that don’t demand as much push cutting.

The edge can be further enhanced by stropping with 1 um diamond spray on leather.

Best grit jump to enhance push cutting with the least amount of stones is to the 3000 grit stone followed by 1 um diamond stropping.
